Revelation Concerning Mr. Hale and Exposure of Scripture Wresting Received October 31, 2011

 9 Yea, and there shall be many which shall teach after this manner, false and vain and foolish doctrines, and shall be puffed up in their hearts, and shall seek deep to hide their counsels from the Lord; and their works shall be in the dark.

   (2 Ne  28:9-15)

 10 And the blood of the saints shall cry from the ground against them.
 11 Yea, they have all gone out of the way; they have become corrupted.
 12 Because of pride, and because of false teachers, and false doctrine, their churches have become corrupted, and their churches are lifted up; because of pride they are puffed up.
 13 They rob the poor because of their fine sanctuaries; they rob the poor because of their fine clothing; and they persecute the meek and the poor in heart, because in their pride they are puffed up.
 14 They wear stiff necks and high heads; yea, and because of pride, and wickedness, and abominations, and whoredoms, they have all gone astray save it be a few, who are the humble followers of Christ; nevertheless, they are led, that in many instances they do err because they are taught by the precepts of men.
 15 O the wise, and the learned, and the rich, that are puffed up in the pride of their hearts, and all those who preach false doctrines, and all those who commit whoredoms, and pervert the right way of the Lord, wo, wo, wo be unto them, saith the Lord God Almighty, for they shall be thrust down to hell!

   (2 Ne  28:9-15)

 7 It is an imperative duty that we owe to God, to angels, with whom we shall be brought to stand, and also to ourselves, to our wives and children, who have been made to bow down with grief, sorrow, and care, under the most damning hand of murder, tyranny, and oppression, supported and urged on and upheld by the influence of that spirit which hath so strongly riveted the creeds of the fathers, who have inherited lies, upon the hearts of the children, and filled the world with confusion, and has been growing stronger and stronger, and is now the very mainspring of all corruption, and the whole earth groans under the weight of its iniquity.

   (D&C  123:7)

Body of the Revelation:

Mr. Hale has a reprobate mind, saith the Lord. Another term for the "reprobate mind" described by Paul in Romans is a "liberal".  Mr. Hale is a proud self-confessed liberal. His true religion is liberalism cloaked in the outward trappings of a "faithful" Mormon, within which disguise he thinks he is hidden.  He will not admit what he says is wrong, only that he has not been allowed to say enough of it yet.  He will do anything to preserve the imaginary world in which he lives, not the least of which is lie, even to himself.  He distorts, slanders, erects straw men and then proceeds to gleefully descredit these strawmen, and wrests the scriptures by lifting out of context passages of scripture, only to wrest these to his own destruction, while crucifying the Lord afresh, putting him to an open shame, saith the Lord.  The context from which these passages are lifted , are the revealments from heaven upon these things. given through the Prophets of Israel, even Joseph and Brigham. All this to destroy any perceived threat to his imaginary world and thus preserve this false reality to arrogate to himself power and influence among the Mormons, to which he outwardly panders.  Being a member of the Church is no guarantee against apostasy from my gospel, which is everlasting, saith the Lord.  For did I not come among the Jews with my gospel and they, even they, had also become polluted with the precepts of men, even the Scribes (scholars) Sadduccees and Pharasees, saith the Lord?  And thus my people were deluded and turned away from me by these and their popularity with the people, despite the mighty miracles which I the Lord God did work among them.  Thus it is that scholars and scribes with their learning attempted garner praise from the foolish and ignorant among the people at that time, even as it is now, saith the Lord.  For these, whom ye call modern, yea, even those who are known as scholars, historians, are the same as them who fought against me when I the Lord God, while walking the dusty streets of Jerusalem in the day of my power, threatened to topple their doctorcraft, priestcraft, lawyercraft and priestcraft.  Yea, thus saith the Lord, Van Hale is one of these scholars, liars and hypocrits.  Why think ye that I the Lord God did speak against them in the day of my power among the Jews?  It is because these were those through whom the devil does excercise and uphold his dominion in the world, for he verily, saith the Lord, is the prince thereof.  And the devil, having practice on many before thee O man, desires your destruction when the judgments of God have been poured out upon these reprobate nations who have allowed themselves to be led and dominated by these lawyers, doctors, scribes, Pharasees, hypocrites!  For do they not say, who seek deep to hide their counsels from the Lord, who seeth us and who knoweth us in the corruption of their hearts and minds, and who subvert the Everlasting Gospel for their own pride, in order to get power and the praise, money, wealth and influence among those who are ignorant and foolish who because of their pride and corruption also uphold them?  And thus, I the Lord God was crucified by them, even these doctors, lawyers, merchants who polluted the Temple, liars, scholars, historians, hypocrites!  Even so.  Amen.

I just know there are men here right amongst us who thirst for the blood of the Prophets of God; and there are those professing to be Saints who are fostering them in their hellish designs; but I pray my heavenly Father to purge out these cursed characters from among us. The time has come when the ungodly and the hypocrites are to be searched out. This is undoubtedly the time the Prophet spoke of when he said, "The sinner in Zion shall be afraid, and fearfulness shall surprise the hypocrite." The people are better prepared for this now than ever they were; for there never was a time when light was reflected upon this people as at the present; no, there never was such a time as there is now; and I know it, if no other man does.

(Journal of Discourses, 26 vols., 5:, p.25)

This is indeed a vile and hellish day in which carnality reigns, a day in which men are ripening in iniquity preparatory to the day of burning. In it there is but one ray of hope. The light of the gospel shines in the darkness, and all who will come to that light have power to rid themselves of the curses of carnality and to live as becometh saints.

(Bruce R. McConkie, The Millennial Messiah: The Second Coming of the Son of Man, p.45)

The qualities of the devil and all fallen angels, are good qualities; they are the very same which they received from their infinitely perfect creator, the very same which are, and must be in all heavenly angels; but they are an hellish, abominable malignity in them now, because they have, by their own self-motion, separated them from the light and love which should have kept them glorious angels.

(An Appeal to all who Doubt)

It is well that our people understand this principle, so they will not be misled by those apostates within the Church who have not yet repented or been cut off. But there is a cleansing coming. The Lord says that his vengeance shall be poured out "upon the inhabitants of the earth. . . . And upon my house shall it begin, and from my house shall it go forth, saith the Lord; First among those among you, saith the Lord, who have professed to know my name and have not known me. . . ." (D&C 112:24-26.) I look forward to that cleansing; its need within the Church is becoming increasingly apparent.
The Lord strengthened the faith of the early apostles by pointing out Judas as a traitor, even before this apostle had completed his iniquitous work. So also in our day the Lord has told us of the tares within the wheat that will eventually be hewn down when they are fully ripe. But until they are hewn down, they will be with us, amongst us. The hymn entitled "Though in the Outward Church Below" contains this thought:
"Though in the outward Church below
Both wheat and tares together grow,
Ere long will Jesus weed the crop
And pluck the tares in anger up. . . .
We seem alike when here we meet;
Strangers may think we are all wheat;
But to the Lord's all-searching eyes,
Each heart appears without disguise.
The tares are spared for various ends,
Some for the sake of praying friends,
Others the Lord against their will,
Employs, his counsels to fulfill.
But though they grow so tall and strong,
His plan will not require them long;
In harvest, when he saves his own,
The tares shall into hell be thrown."
(Hymns, No. 102.)
Tares among the wheat
Yes, within the Church today there are tares among the wheat and wolves within the flock. As President Clark stated, "The ravening wolves are amongst us, from our own membership, and they, more than any others, are clothed in sheep's clothing because they wear the habiliments of the priesthood. . . . We should be careful of them. . . ." (Era, May 1949, p. 268. See also, Conference Report, April 1949, p. 163.)
The wolves amongst our flock are more numerous and devious today than when President Clark made this statement.
President McKay has said that "the Church is little, if at all, injured by persecution and calumnies from ignorant, misinformed or malicious enemies. A greater hindrance to its progress comes from faultfinders, shirkers, commandment-breakers, and apostate cliques within its own ecclesiastical and quorum groups." (Era, December 1967, p. 35. See also, Conference Report, October 1967, p. 9.)
Not only are there apostates within our midst, but there are also apostate doctrines that are sometimes taught in our classes and from our pulpits and that appear in our publications. And these apostate precepts of men cause our people to stumble. As the Book of Mormon, speaking of our day, states: ". . . they have all gone astray save it a few, who are the humble followers of Christ; nevertheless, they are led, that in many instances they do err because they are taught by the precepts of men." (2 Ne. 28:14.)
The precepts of men
Let us consider some of the precepts of men that may and do cause some of the humble followers of Christ to err.
Christ taught that we should be in the world but not of it. Yet there are some in our midst who are not so much concerned about taking the gospel into the world as the are about bringing worldliness into the gospel. They want us to be in the world and of it. They want us to be popular with the worldly even though a prophet has said that this is impossible, for all hell would then want to join us.
Through their own reasoning and a few misapplied scriptures, they try to sell us the precepts and philosophies of men. They do not feel the Church is progressive enough-they say that it should embrace the social and socialist gospel of apostate Christendom.
They are bothered that President McKay believes that "the social side of the Restored Gospel is only an incident of it; it is not the end thereof." (Letter of the First Presidency to Dr. Lowry Nelson, July 17, 1947.)
They attack the Church for not being in the forefront of the so-called "civil rights movement." They are embarrassed over some Church doctrine, and as Lehi foretold, the scoffing of the world over this and other matters will cause some of them to be ashamed and they shall fall away. (See 1 Ne. 8:28.)
Publishing differences with Church
Unauthorized to receive revelation for the Church, but I fear still anxious to redirect the Church in the way they think it should go, some of them have taken to publishing their differences with the Church, in order to give their heretical views a broader and, they hope, a more respectable platform.
Along this line it would be well for all of us to remember these words of President George Q. Cannon:
"A friend . . . wished to know whether we . . . considered an honest difference of opinion between a member of the Church and the Authorities of the Church was apostasy. . . . We replied that we had not stated that an honest difference of opinion between a member of the Church and the Authorities constituted apostasy, for we could conceive of a man honestly differing in opinion from the Authorities of the Church and yet not be an apostate; but we could not conceive of a man publishing those differences of opinion and seeking by arguments, sophistry and special pleading to enforce them upon the people to produce division and strife and to place the acts and counsels of the Authorities of the Church, if possible, in a wrong light and not be an apostate, for such conduct was apostasy as we understood the term." (Deseret News, November 3, 1869.)

Spiritual Gifts Experienced by Matt After Baptism

19 And this greater priesthood administereth the gospel and holdeth the key of the mysteries of the kingdom, even the key of the knowledge of God.
20 Therefore, in the ordinances thereof, the power of godliness is manifest.
21 And without the ordinances thereof, and the authority of the priesthood, the power of godliness is not manifest unto men in the flesh;
22 For without this no man can see the face of God, even the Father, and live.
23 Now this Moses plainly taught to the children of Israel in the wilderness, and sought diligently to sanctify his people that they might behold the face of God;
24 But they hardened their hearts and could not endure his presence; therefore, the Lord in his wrath, for his anger was kindled against them, swore that they should not enter into his rest while in the wilderness, which rest is the fulness of his glory.
25 Therefore, he took Moses out of their midst, and the Holy Priesthood also;
26 And the lesser priesthood continued, which priesthood holdeth the key of the ministering of angels and the preparatory gospel;

More on the Co-Messiahship of the One Mighty and Strong (an office in the Priesthood).  Rights, keys, privileges of this office are same on each world--mediating New Covenant for Zion and its environs, while Jesus will return to his own House, Jerusalem and its environs, " for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem."  Isaiah.  Jimmy and Matt reported in from Cheyenne together after meeting preparatory to Matt's baptism the following day.  Baptism occurred in YMCA in Cheyenne with many onlookers including the Director who lined up to congratulate the two profusely, inviting them to come back, saying "the is the first baptism done here in 10 years!"  Hallajeujah, and Praised be the name of Israel's God, may he reign on earth, may the Ancient of Days return to his former habitation and abode in Zion, and may the Word of the Lord proceed forth from Jerusalem forever.  Amen.

 2 And by it, saith the Father, even this new name, that of Art Bulla, who is that One Mighty and Strong, ye shall command and the angels shall respond to thy defense, the heavens shall shut themselves that it shall not rain, the earth shall move in thy defense, the mighty waters shall be dried up that ye walk over, the sick may be healed instantly, saith the Father, and this because ye use the name of my well-beloved, my second born among all my children, even my servant who is that One who should come unto thee as anciently, O Zion.  The Revelations of Jesus Christ, Section 67.

Co-Messiahship of One Mighty and Strong
by Art Bulla

46 Therefor was he formed by my hand that I the Lord your God should give unto you another gift, for having given the children of men one gift, ye need not suppose that I the Lord your God cannot give unto men another, for he also is in the similitude and very likeness of mine Only Begotten, for he also was with me from the beginning and I have given that he should speak words, yea eternal words for the salvation of the children of men, as a second witness of me.

47 For out of the mouths of two or three witnesses shall every word be established, saith the Lord of the whole earth. The Revelations of Jesus Christ, Section 2.

Thus saith the Father, from henceforth and forever I give unto you a New Covenant, and a new name, that by it ye shall gain communion with the general assembly and Church of the Firstborn and the fullness of the Father, which is exaltation in my presence: Sons of God, not begotten by man, nor the will of man, without father, mother, beginning of days nor end of years, abiding a Priest forever after the Order of Melchizedec.

Trial of Paul Jones for Fellowship

 49 And the whole world lieth in sin, and groaneth under darkness and under the bondage of sin.
 50 And by this you may know they are under the bondage of sin, because they come not unto me.
 51 For whoso cometh not unto me is under the bondage of sin.
  53 And by this you may know the righteous from the wicked, and that the whole world groaneth under sin and darkness even now.
 54 And your minds in times past have been darkened because of unbelief, and because you have treated lightly the things you have received--
 55 Which vanity and unbelief have brought the whole church under condemnation.
  58 ...bring forth fruit meet for their Father's kingdom; otherwise there remaineth a scourge and judgment to be poured out upon the children of Zion.
 59 For shall the children of the kingdom pollute my holy land?

Verily, I say unto you, Nay. (D&C  84)
 Things are moving very fast here.  The show is conducted as led by the Spirit.  The actual trial for the fellowship of an associate and candidate for
baptism occurred, with Paul calling in and defending himself.  He was accused of lying to the Priesthood regarding transportation to Independence for meeting with Jesse Adams and Apostle Jimmy Lee Hardy for interviews, fellowship, baptism and ordination, pending successful interview.  Paul was found guilty and summarily ejected from our fellowship.  Paul then manifest bitterness by logging into chatroom and hurling epithets in concert with one particularly virulent anti, calling us "a cult", etc.  We are glad that Jimmy was spared driving over a thousand miles to accomplish our goals concerning baptism of a person less than sincere.

Ejection of Another Member for Non-Compliance

Purging of the vine of rotten or barren branches is an ongoing process.  When members of our fellowship are found dishonest, insincere, duplicitous or deceitful in any way, they are subject to the judgment and may therefore be excluded from participation.  One such is Paul Jones who promised to help facilitate a much anticipated gathering for ordinances to be performed in Independence, MO.  This meeting was "make or break", "fish or cut bait" for this event to occur and despite promises to the contrary, Mr. Jones failed even to show up for this important meeting.  Every tree which bringeth forth not good fruit is worthy to be hewn down and cast into the fire, saith the Lord.  Therefore it has been proposed that our fellowship be withdrawn and will be voted upon.

Final plans for the missionary journey of Jimmy Hardy, and Apostle of the One Mighty and Strong to Independence to baptize and ordain another member,  Jesse Adams of New York were made.  It was agreed they then will arrange a meeting with Church, Temple Lot to discuss doctrine, thus preparing the way for the redempton of Zion, saith the Lord God.

Self-appointed junk "scientist" aka Darwinist, Mr. Van Hale, who has professed non-belief in the Book of Mormon by calling it "a literary device" with no historicity, now, as an interloper with no authority, is pretending to be the supreme arbiter of historical truth.  "By their fruits ye shall know them."  There is no testimony that Mr. Hale has not rejected including my own, including the testimony of Brigham Young concerning the Adamhood of God, and the testimony of L. John Nuttall concerning the discourse before the veil.  But the latest in the long train of abominations practiced by this fool, is his rejection of the testimony of an eyewitness to events, Francis Michael Darter, High Priest, and Civil Engineer, recorded in the his book published by Deseret News Publishing Co. in 1933, Zion's Redemption.  This volume protests with doctrinal proofs, the naked attempt at fraud and slander of the true revelation by Heber J. Grant and the First Presidency, using one of their members, their "goto guy" James Talmadge (another believer in Darwin) to compile a "little book" titled "Latter Day Revelation" which would fool weak, foolish members of the Church.  The object was to descredit the revelations which predict the rise of the One Mighty and Strong as a deliverer, and also plural marriage, by stating that these revelations fround in Doctrine and Covenants are now of "no enduring value", thus destroying the plan of salvation instituted in the heavens before the world was made which is irrevocable, saith the Lord!  This attempt at fraud by rich monogamous businessmen who have hijacked the Church with their wicked ways, was put down by a revolt among the membership who refused to discard D&C 85 regarding the OMS and D&C 132 shortly after 1930, the date of the publication of the fraudlent work, which left out 95 revelations from the D&C.

Concerning Signs vs. Faith

Listening to "Question Concerning Signs vs. Faith" by Art Bulla on #BlogTalkRadio  http://www.blogtalkradio.com/artbulla/2011/10/03/question-concerning-signs-vs-faith Question Concerning Signs vs. Faith

Alma the Younger Called to Repentance by an Angel of the Lord
Sun, Oct 2, 2011

Jesses posed question on the importance of distinguishing between signs and faith.

 48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

   (John  4:48)

4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

   (Mark  16:17)

Art then read the famous passage from the Book of Mormon: Alma 32.

 2 And it came to pass that after much labor among them, they began to have success among the poor class of people; for behold, they were cast out of the synagogues because of the coarseness of their apparel--(continued)

 2 And it came to pass that after much labor among them, they began to have success among the poor class of people; for behold, they were cast out of the synagogues because of the coarseness of their apparel--
 3 Therefore they were not permitted to enter into their synagogues to worship God, being esteemed as filthiness; therefore they were poor; yea, they were esteemed by their brethren as dross; therefore they were poor as to things of the world; and also they were poor in heart.
 4 Now, as Alma was teaching and speaking unto the people upon the hill Onidah, there came a great multitude unto him, who were those of whom we have been speaking, of whom were poor in heart, because of their poverty as to the things of the world.
 5 And they came unto Alma; and the one who was the foremost among them said unto him: Behold, what shall these my brethren do, for they are despised of all men because of their poverty, yea, and more especially by our priests; for they have cast us out of our synagogues which we have labored abundantly to build with our own hands; and they have cast us out because of our exceeding poverty; and we have no place to worship our God; and behold, what shall we do?
 6 And now when Alma heard this, he turned him about, his face immediately towards him, and he beheld with great joy; for he beheld that their afflictions had truly humbled them, and that they were in a preparation to hear the word.
 7 Therefore he did say no more to the other multitude; but he stretched forth his hand, and cried unto those whom he beheld, who were truly penitent, and said unto them:
 8 I behold that ye are lowly in heart; and if so, blessed are ye.
 9 Behold thy brother hath said, What shall we do?--for we are cast out of our synagogues, that we cannot worship our God.
 10 Behold I say unto you, do ye suppose that ye cannot worship God save it be in your synagogues only?
 11 And moreover, I would ask, do ye suppose that ye must not worship God only once in a week?
 12 I say unto you, it is well that ye are cast out of your synagogues, that ye may be humble, and that ye may learn wisdom; for it is necessary that ye should learn wisdom; for it is because that ye are cast out, that ye are despised of your brethren because of your exceeding poverty, that ye are brought to a lowliness of heart; for ye are necessarily brought to be humble.
 13 And now, because ye are compelled to be humble blessed are ye; for a man sometimes, if he is compelled to be humble, seeketh repentance; and now surely, whosoever repenteth shall find mercy; and he that findeth mercy and endureth to the end the same shall be saved.
 14 And now, as I said unto you, that because ye were compelled to be humble ye were blessed, do ye not suppose that they are more blessed who truly humble themselves because of the word?
 15 Yea, he that truly humbleth himself, and repenteth of his sins, and endureth to the end, the same shall be blessed--yea, much more blessed than they who are compelled to be humble because of their exceeding poverty.
 16 Therefore, blessed are they who humble themselves without being compelled to be humble; or rather, in other words, blessed is he that believeth in the word of God, and is baptized without stubbornness of heart, yea, without being brought to know the word, or even compelled to know, before they will believe.
 17 Yea, there are many who do say: If thou wilt show unto us a sign from heaven, then we shall know of a surety; then we shall believe.
 18 Now I ask, is this faith? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for if a man knoweth a thing he hath no cause to believe, for he knoweth it.
 19 And now, how much more cursed is he that knoweth the will of God and doeth it not, than he that only believeth, or only hath cause to believe, and falleth into transgression?
 20 Now of this thing ye must judge. Behold, I say unto you, that it is on the one hand even as it is on the other; and it shall be unto every man according to his work.
 21 And now as I said concerning faith--faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true.
 22 And now, behold, I say unto you, and I would that ye should remember, that God is merciful unto all who believe on his name; therefore he desireth, in the first place, that ye should believe, yea, even on his word.
 23 And now, he imparteth his word by angels unto men, yea, not only men but women also. Now this is not all; little children do have words given unto them many times, which confound the wise and the learned.
 24 And now, my beloved brethren, as ye have desired to know of me what ye shall do because ye are afflicted and cast out--now I do not desire that ye should suppose that I mean to judge you only according to that which is true--
 25 For I do not mean that ye all of you have been compelled to humble yourselves; for I verily believe that there are some among you who would humble themselves, let them be in whatsoever circumstances they might.
 26 Now, as I said concerning faith--that it was not a perfect knowledge--even so it is with my words. Ye cannot know of their surety at first, unto perfection, any more than faith is a perfect knowledge.
 27 But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words.
 28 Now, we will compare the word unto a seed. Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to swell within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves--It must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to enlarge my soul; yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me.
 29 Now behold, would not this increase your faith? I say unto you, Yea; nevertheless it hath not grown up to a perfect knowledge.
 30 But behold, as the seed swelleth, and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow, then you must needs say that the seed is good; for behold it swelleth, and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow. And now, behold, will not this strengthen your faith? Yea, it will strengthen your faith: for ye will say I know that this is a good seed; for behold it sprouteth and beginneth to grow.
 31 And now, behold, are ye sure that this is a good seed? I say unto you, Yea; for every seed bringeth forth unto its own likeness.
 32 Therefore, if a seed groweth it is good, but if it groweth not, behold it is not good, therefore it is cast away.
 33 And now, behold, because ye have tried the experiment, and planted the seed, and it swelleth and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow, ye must needs know that the seed is good.
 34 And now, behold, is your knowledge perfect? Yea, your knowledge is perfect in that thing, and your faith is dormant; and this because you know, for ye know that the word hath swelled your souls, and ye also know that it hath sprouted up, that your understanding doth begin to be enlightened, and your mind doth begin to expand.
 35 O then, is not this real? I say unto you, Yea, because it is light; and whatsoever is light, is good, because it is discernible, therefore ye must know that it is good; and now behold, after ye have tasted this light is your knowledge perfect?
 36 Behold I say unto you, Nay; neither must ye lay aside your faith, for ye have only exercised your faith to plant the seed that ye might try the experiment to know if the seed was good.
 37 And behold, as the tree beginneth to grow, ye will say: Let us nourish it with great care, that it may get root, that it may grow up, and bring forth fruit unto us. And now behold, if ye nourish it with much care it will get root, and grow up, and bring forth fruit.
 38 But if ye neglect the tree, and take no thought for its nourishment, behold it will not get any root; and when the heat of the sun cometh and scorcheth it, because it hath no root it withers away, and ye pluck it up and cast it out.
 39 Now, this is not because the seed was not good, neither is it because the fruit thereof would not be desirable; but it is because your ground is barren, and ye will not nourish the tree, therefore ye cannot have the fruit thereof.
 40 And thus, if ye will not nourish the word, looking forward with an eye of faith to the fruit thereof, ye can never pluck of the fruit of the tree of life.
 41 But if ye will nourish the word, yea, nourish the tree as it beginneth to grow, by your faith with great diligence, and with patience, looking forward to the fruit thereof, it shall take root; and behold it shall be a tree springing up unto everlasting life.
 42 And because of your diligence and your faith and your patience with the word in nourishing it, that it may take root in you, behold, by and by ye shall pluck the fruit thereof, which is most precious, which is sweet above all that is sweet, and which is white above all that is white, yea, and pure above all that is pure; and ye shall feast upon this fruit even until ye are filled, that ye hunger not, neither shall ye thirst.
 43 Then, my brethren, ye shall reap the rewards of your faith, and your diligence, and patience, and long-suffering, waiting for the tree to bring forth fruit unto you.

   (Alma  32:2-43)

·         10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
