Desperately Wicked Caller Rebuked Openly

37 But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

So-called "progressives", was represented by a caller,  who think themselves above the humble followers of Christ--who be deluded, they judge, are to the contrary, are not enlightened at all, but exactly the same as those described by Paul in his letter to the Romans and Timothy:

7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

(2 Timothy 3:7 - 9)

Demonstrating by this caller that human nature is the same, God is the same, the Gosple is the same, and the Devil is the same.

28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

(New Testament | Romans 1:28 - 32)

19 For a desolating scourge shall go forth among the inhabitants of the earth, and shall continue to be poured out from time to time, if they repent not, until the earth is empty, and the inhabitants thereof are consumed away and utterly destroyed by the brightness of my coming.

            (D&C  5:19)

Great destructions in what is now America at the death of Jesus upon the cross:

 10 And behold, the city of Laman, and the city of Josh, and the city of Gad, and the city of Kishkumen, have I caused to be burned with fire, and the inhabitants thereof, because of their wickedness in casting out the prophets, and stoning those whom I did send to declare unto them concerning their wickedness and their abominations.
 11 And because they did cast them all out, that there were none righteous among them, I did send down fire and destroy them, that their wickedness and abominations might be hid from before my face, that the blood of the prophets and the saints whom I sent among them might not cry unto me from the ground against them.

            (3 Ne  9:10-11)

Scenario to be repeated at 2nd Coming:

23 And again, the Lord shall utter his voice out of heaven, saying: Hearken, O ye nations of the earth, and hear the words of that God who made you.

24 O, ye nations of the earth, how often would I have gathered you together as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, but ye would not!

25 How oft have I called upon you by the mouth of my servants, and by the ministering of angels, and by mine own voice, and by the voice of thunderings, and by the voice of lightnings, and by the voice of tempests, and by the voice of earthquakes, and great hailstorms, and by the voice of famines and pestilences of every kind, and by the great sound of a trump, and by the voice of judgment, and by the voice of mercy all the day long, and by the voice of glory and honor and the riches of eternal life, and would have saved you with an everlasting salvation, but ye would not!

26 Behold, the day has come, when the cup of the wrath of mine indignation is full.

27 Behold, verily I say unto you, that these are the words of the Lord your God.

28 Wherefore, labor ye, labor ye in my vineyard for the last time--for the last time call upon the inhabitants of the earth.

29 For in mine own due time will I come upon the earth in judgment, and my people shall be redeemed and shall reign with me on earth.

30 For the great Millennium, of which I have spoken by the mouth of my servants, shall come.

31 For Satan shall be bound, and when he is loosed again he shall only reign for a little season, and then cometh the end of the earth.

32 And he that liveth in righteousness shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye, and the earth shall pass away so as by fire.

33 And the wicked shall go away into unquenchable fire, and their end no man knoweth on earth, nor ever shall know, until they come before me in judgment.

34 Hearken ye to these words. Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Treasure these things up in your hearts, and let the solemnities of eternity rest upon your minds.

"The decreed mission of the 'One Mighty and Strong' is the second greatest and the second most glorious doctrine found in holy writ. It is a most logical event. It is divine. If records did not reveal his coming, and the Church offered membership in her institution as the only necessary requirement for one to enter Zion when it is redeemed; then that very principle would prove her a man‑made institution. On the other hand, if her doctrines set forth that God has "one mighty and strong" who is to come and weed out the unworthy, and judge the remainder of us a little more severely...then that indicates she is divine." Francis Michael Darter; Zion's Redemption, p. 114; 1933; Deseret News Publishing Co.

The 2nd Greatest Doctrine Found in Holy Writ

hou fool who crieth blasphemy because I, the Father, have called him my Son also. Yea, why do ye imagine a vain thing, saith the Lord? Yea, why do the heathen rage? For it is that because I have one witness, even Jesus, ye need not suppose that I the Father cannot give another, for this day have I begotten him also.  Therefore, speak not of things which ye know not of, for him also I have sent unto you, that ye may have another son and witness of me, the Father, the greatest of all.  And thus all may become my sons, even the sons of God and sit down with us in my kingdom, and all that I have, saith the Father, shall be given them also, for they shall be co-heirs with these two, one for Ephraim, and one of Judah.  Even so, learn of me, for my words are not thy words, and my thoughts are not your thoughts.  For it is that the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing.  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.  I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.  Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.  Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.  Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.  Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. For did I not speak through Moses that I the Lord God would raise up a man like unto Moses.  For verily, the Deliverer has come out of Zion, saith the Lord and shall sit upon my holy hill in Zion.  For he, saith the Lord, is the Messiah to Ephraim, to deliver thee from bondage, as I  spoke in that day through John Taylor, my servant, that in the time of the seventh president, that the people would go into bondage, both temporally and spiritually.  And that in that day of bondage the One Mighty and Strong should come.  Even so, he is here now, saith the Lord, and him ye shall hearken and obey or ye shall be cut off from among the people who are of the covenant.  Even so kiss the son lest the Lord be angry with thee.  Amen.  Revelation received September 1, 2013, Baja, Mexico.

Francis Michael Darter Wrote in 1933:

"This Priesthood is to remain exclusively with us 'UNTIL the restoration of all things,' which I've tried to prove to my readers will be the time of the coming of these great leaders whom God has reserved and will send to complete the restoration of all things' and to bring to a close the work of redeeming Zion and Jerusalem. These leaders will come holding their own respective Priesthood rights. In reference to John the regulator the record says again quote unto rightly belongs the Priesthood,' etc.

"Now, there is no question but that our exclusive Priesthood rights will terminate at their coming. These leaders are coming to assist us, but never to obtain authority, to bow or seek permission to proceed. The man who interferes with the work of these future prophets will surely be swept aside. It is to this end that these lines are presented to the world that those who are not informed may become learned and not make a serious mistake to oppose the mission of these mighty leaders even now and when they appear to complete their mission.

"Now as the Lord has expressed His dissatisfaction and is to send judgments against us, why not publish His warnings that the people may know and repent? The theory that in an investigator or convert should not know these things is wrong. Lay the full facts before him, for he has intelligence. God's warning words will assist them to choose the 'straight and narrow path.' I quote: 'Whosoever believeth on my words, them will I visit with the manifestation of my spirit; and they shall be born of me, even of water and of the Spirit. And their testimony shall also go forth unto the condemnation of this generation if they harden their hearts against them; for the desolating scourge shall go forth among the inhabitants of the earth, and shall continue to be poured out from time to time, if they repent not, until the earth is empty, and the inhabitants thereof are consumed away and utterly destroyed by the brightness of my coming.' (Doctrine and Covenants 5:16–19) Francis Michael Darter; Zion's Redemption; Deseret News Publishing Co., 1933

The following, refers to the second witness of my Father, the Messiah to Ephraim and Manessah and closely parallels DC 103:16-20 and proves the doctrine of the second stone or witness of the Father.

3 Nephi 21:20 ,29  For it shall come to pass, saith the Father, that at that day whosoever will not repent and come unto my Beloved Son (the man like Moses), them will I cut off from among my people, O house of Israel;

29  And they shall go out from all nations; and they shall not go out in haste, nor go by flight, for I will go before them, saith the Father, and I will be their rearward.

(3 Nephi 21:29)

 22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

 23 And it shall come to pass, [that] every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

                                    (Acts  3:22-23)

 37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

                                    (Acts  7:37)

 15  The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

                                    (Deut  18:15)

15 Behold, I say unto you, the redemption of Zion must needs come by power;

 16 Therefore, I will raise up unto my people a man, who shall lead them like as Moses (a modern Messiah, or second witness: the One Mighty and Strong, saith the Lord) led the children of Israel.

 17 For ye are the children of Israel, and of the seed of Abraham, and ye must needs be led out of bondage by power, and with a stretched-out arm.

 18 And as your fathers were led at the first, even so shall the redemption of Zion be.

 19 Therefore, let not your hearts faint, for I say not unto you as I said unto your fathers: Mine angel shall go up before you, but not my presence.

 20 But I say unto you: Mine angels shall go up before you, and also my presence, and in time ye shall possess the goodly land.

Joseph, My Joseph!

Further light and knowledge concerning the Political Kingdom of God including a revelation concerning the same given to John Taylor, third President of the Church in 1882:

Years later when John Taylor was president of the Church, a revelation given to the Church stated: "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. I called you by my servant Joseph, and by my servant Brigham, and by my servant John. You did not teach and instruct me; but I have taught and instructed you and organized you according to my eternal laws. Ye are my Constitution, and I am your God; and I will be acknowledged; and my will and my word and my law shall bear rule in my Kingdom, saith the Lord. If it does not, then it is not my Kingdom, and then are ye not my spokesmen; saith the Lord. For if it is by the wisdom of man, by the intelligence of man, and under the direction of man, then it is a Kingdom of man and not of me, and I acknowledge it not, saith the Lord God. Have I not instructed you in all that you know, and is not this Kingdom organized and directed by revelation from me? Is it not called the Kingdom of God? If, therefore, it is not my Kingdom, why do you make use of my name and invoke my authority and my aid? Is this Kingdom not called, the kingdom of God and his laws, with the keys and power thereof, and judgment in the hands of his servants. Amen Christ."

            (Joseph Fielding McConkie, Here We Stand, p.132)

·      President Young then spoke of those who was not in the Church--as there were some present--that they would be protected in their rights but they must not introduce wicked men in the camp for it would not be suffered. He then spoke of the standard and ensign that would be reared in Zion to govern the Kingdom of God and the nations of the earth. For every nation would bow the knee and every tongue confess that JESUS was the Christ and this will be the standard: The Kingdom of God and his Laws and Judgment in -------------- [a shorthand entry which completes the full name of the Council of Fifty: The Kingdom of God and His Laws with the Keys and Powers thereof and Judgment in the Hands of His Servants]. And on the standard would be a flag of every nation under heaven.

(The Historians Corner Edited by  James B. Allen, BYU Studies, vol. 14 (1973-1974), Number 1 - Autumn 1973, p.107)

Brigahm, my Brigham!

·      But is it not possible that a more important reason why the Saints failed to cooperate with the State or Illinois is that, according to the jurisprudence of the Kingdom or God, justice was to be in the hand of the Lord as administered by his servants. According to a revelation by Joseph Smith, the official and secret name of the Council of Fifty was "The Kingdom of God and His Laws with the keys and powers thereof and judgment in the hands of his servants." Under the concept of legitimacy of the Kingdom of God, the laws of the Kingdom, as administered by its servants, were the only truly legitimate ones. To the extent that secular governments administered the law, they had merely usurped that power. Unlike the gentiles, then, the Mormons. at least according to their own jurisprudence, were not resorting to a higher law, but to the only legitimate law.

(Book Reviews, BYU Studies, vol. 16 (1975-1976), Number 3 - Spring 1976, p.440)

·      The Kingdom of God was a shortened name of the authorized title of the Council of Fifty. The full title of the organization, given in a revelation to the Prophet 7 April 1842, was "The Kingdom of God and His Laws with the Keys and powers thereof and judgment in the hands of his servants, Ahman Christ"  (Abraham H. Cannon Journal, 5:24, under date of 9 October 1884, Special Collections, Harold B. Lee Library, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah). The date that Joseph Fielding became a member cannot be determined precisely by available documentation, though he was probably present at the two Council of Fifty meetings held prior to the excommunication trial of William Law, et al. This would give, at the latest, 18 April 1844 as the day of his entrance into the Council. Fielding reports in his journal for 11 March 1849:  "It is five Years to the Day the 11 of March since the Council, now called the Legislative Council, was first formed by the Prophet Joseph Smith." Speaking earlier of this organization date, he says (sometime in the winter of 1847), "I still hold a Place in the Council of Fifty, and have done from its first organization by Joseph Smith." (Joseph Fieldidng 1841-59 Journal. The first quotation is under the date given on p. 149, and the latter quotation is on p. 126.)

("They Might Have Known That He Was Not a Fallen Prophet"-- the Nauvoo Journal of Joseph Fielding Transcribed and Edited by Andrew F. Ehat , BYU Studies, vol. 19 (1978-1979), Number 2 - Winter 1979, p.166)

·      Original documents not only assign various dates of establishment but also designate this special organization by a variety of names. The specific  names must be known in order to identify the Council of Fifty and to avoid assuming that every oblique reference to "council" applies to the Council of Fifty. In a revelation presented by  John  Taylor to the Council of Fifty on 27 June 1882, as well as in the minutes of the 10 April 1880 meeting of the Council of Fifty and in the journals of William Clayton, Franklin D. Richards, and Joseph F. Smith, the official, revealed name of the Council of Fifty is "The Kingdom of God and His Laws with the Keys and[Power[s] thereof, and Judgment in the Hands of His Servants, Ahman Christ."

(The Council of Fifty and Its Members, 1844 To 1945 by D. Michael Quinn , BYU Studies, vol. 20 (1979-1980), Number 2 - Winter 1980, p.166)

·      Verily thus saith the Lord, This is the name by which you shall be called, The Kingdom of God and His Law, with the Keys and power thereof, and judgment in the hands of his servants, Ahman Christ.

·      . . . The organization of the Kingdom of God on 11 March last is one important event. This organization was called the Council of Fifty or Kingdom of God, and was titled by  revelation  as follows, "Verily thus saith the Lord, this is the name by which you shall be called, the Kingdom of God and his Laws, with the Keys and power thereof, and judgment in the hands of his servants. Ahman Christ." In this Council was the plan arranged for supporting Pres. Jos. Smith as a candidate for the presidency of the U.S. Prest Joseph was the standing chairman of the council and myself the Clerk. In this Council was also devised the plan of establishing an emigration to Texas, and plans laid for the exaltation of a standard and ensign of truth for the nations of the earth. In this council was the plan devised to restore the Ancients   to the Knowledge of the truth and the restoration of Union and peace amongst ourselves. In this Council was Prest Joseph chosen our Prophet. Priest and King by Hosannas. In this Council was the principles of eternal truth rolled forth to the heavens without reserve and the hearts of the servants of God made to rejoice exceedingly.

("It Seems Like Heaven Began on Earth":  Joseph Smith and the Constitution of the Kingdom of God by Andrew F. Ehat , BYU Studies, vol. 20 (1979-1980), Number 3 - Spring 1980, p.254,268)

·      Since the council was considered as the nucleus of God's future government on earth, it was also termed the "Council of the Kingdom." This name may have originated from an unpublished revelation to Joseph Smith on the subject of the political aspects of the Kingdom of God. By this name, it stated, ye shall be known: "The Kingdom of God and His laws, with the keys and powers thereof and judgment in the hands of his servants." When viewed in this light, the term Kingdom of God had a broader meaning than is usually applied to it when it is used to denote the Church of God. Brigham Young explained by first referring to the various organizations that make up the Church and then stating:

(Hyrum L. Andrus, Joseph Smith and World Government, p.4)

·      Years later when John Taylor was president of the Church, a revelation given to the Church stated: "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you.

·      81. This name, with variations, is given in several sources. The above version is in a revelation to John Taylor, June 27, 1882. Abraham H. Cannon gave its name as "The Kingdom of God and its laws, and the keys thereof and judgment in the hands of His servant, Ahman Christ."-Journal of Abraham H. Cannon, October 9, 1884, Brigham Young University Library. The minutes of the Council of Fifty, April 10, 1884, City Hall, Salt Lake City, Utah, gives still another version: "The Kingdom of God and His laws, with the keys and powers thereof and judgment in the hands of his servants." Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

(Matt  6:10)

The people of the United States, saith the Lord, have broken the covenant I did establish with their fathers, yea even the founders of this nation, for they have chosen evil and elected the wicked to rule, therefore I have taken the right to rule from them that I may once again establish my Holy Order in its fullness upon the earth, even as I did anciently, that the Ancient of Days may once again sit, even as I did speak to Daniel the prophet (revelation received Sept 21, 2014, Baja, Mexico)

20 And of the ten horns that [were] in his head, and [of] the other which came up (the United States, saith the Lord), and before whom three fell (England, France, Spain); even [of] that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look [was] more stout than his fellows.

21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints (the Mormons, saith the Lord), and prevailed against them;

22 Until the Ancient of days (The Father) came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

The Constitution of the political Kingdom of God (given in a revelation to Joseph Smith):

Verily thus saith the Lord, This is the name by which you shall be called, The Kingdom of God and His Law, with the Keys and power thereof, and judgment in the hands of his servants, Ahman Christ. Revelation to Joseph Smith; Constitution of the Kingdom of God by Andrew F. Ehat , BYU Studies, vol. 20, Number 3 - Spring 1980, p.25

Reflections. Jan. 1st 1845

"The Wicked Flee When No One Pursueth."

"The world when rejecting true prophets always compares them with the basest of men", I continually have had to fear for my liberty, and life, almost daily because of unreasoning fear among the disobedient and rebellious (my not always being able to restrain the Spirit of might) as to my motives, stability and plans, indeed all of the sons of God have been slain and imprisoned at the hands of the wicked because of this fear, the most notable being Jesus the Christ, hung between two thieves, because of his perceived threat to the priestly hegemony of his day. Therefore I declare hereby, that I pose no threat to any individual or government but leave you in the great and terrible hands of Israel's God at the last day for "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, and I will repay". Neither do I harbor any malice or vengeance against any person or group of persons, or race, nor advocate any overthrow of any established order or government by force of arms, or otherwise, but I reserve the right to fight my battles in the name of Jehovah against all comers, great or small, with truth, diamond truth, which I wield by the pen, as a sword.

·         10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (New Testament | Galatians 1:10 - 12)
