A spate of Gentile dogs and a seething volcanic savage inhabited the chat room tonight. Why do I say Gentile dogs? Dogs have a limited range. Gentiles have a limited range. Being more on a animal level, genetically and racially these lack the range to comprehend the things of the spirit. These predilections, I suppose, come from a certain noncommittal attitude displayed in the classrooms being taught in the pre-mortal existence. Jesus called them dogs, so why shouldn't I? This particular group comprised former members who had apostatized because of a lack of root in themselves.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. (Matt 7:6)

17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.(Mark 4:17)

Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men. (Alma 48:17)
"When misuse of power has reached a certain stage, the divinity that is within the people asserts its right and they free themselves from the power of despotism." 10:191. (Brigham Young, Discourses of Brigham Young, selected and arranged by John A. Widtsoe, p.64)
A prime example for mankind as to the type of man that pleases God the most is found in the book of Mormon. The character of Gen. Moroni is that he was willing to take up just the sword in defense of his country against all enemies both foreign and domestic:
11 And Moroni was a strong and a mighty man; he was a man of a perfect understanding; yea, a man that did not delight in bloodshed; a man whose soul did joy in the liberty and the freedom of his country, and his brethren from bondage and slavery; 12 Yea, a man whose heart did swell with thanksgiving to his God, for the many privileges and blessings which he bestowed upon his people; a man who did labor exceedingly for the welfare and safety of his people. 13 Yea, and he was a man who was firm in the faith of Christ, and he had sworn with an oath to defend his people, his rights, and his country, and his religion, even to the loss of his blood. Alma 48:11-13
Back Story: Moroni's Letter to Pahoran 1 AND it came to pass that he wrote again to the governor of the land, who was Pahoran, and these are the words which he wrote, saying: Behold, I direct mine epistle to Pahoran, in the city of Zarahemla, who is the chief judge and the governor over the land, and also to all those who have been chosen by this people to govern and manage the affairs of this war. 2 For behold, I have somewhat to say unto them by the way of condemnation; for behold, ye yourselves know that ye have been appointed to gather together men, and arm them with swords, and with cimeters, and all manner of weapons of war of every kind, and send forth against the Lamanites, in whatsoever parts they should come into our land. 3 And now behold, I say unto you that myself, and also my men, and also Helaman and his men, have suffered exceedingly great sufferings; yea, even hunger, thirst, and fatigue, and all manner of afflictions of every kind. 4 But behold, were this all we had suffered we would not murmur nor complain. 5 But behold, great has been the slaughter among our people; yea, thousands have fallen by the sword, while it might have otherwise been if ye had rendered unto our armies sufficient strength and succor for them. Yea, great has been your neglect towards us. 6 And now behold, we desire to know the cause of this exceedingly great neglect; yea, we desire to know the cause of your thoughtless state. 7 Can you think to sit upon your thrones in a state of thoughtless stupor, while your enemies are spreading the work of death around you? Yea, while they are murdering thousands of your brethren-- 8 Yea, even they who have looked up to you for protection, yea, have placed you in a situation that ye might have succored them, yea, ye might have sent armies unto them, to have strengthened them, and have saved thousands of them from falling by the sword. 9 But behold, this is not all--ye have withheld your provisions from them, insomuch that many have fought and bled out their lives because of their great desires which they had for the welfare of this people; yea, and this they have done when they were about to perish with hunger, because of your exceedingly great neglect towards them. 10 And now, my beloved brethren--for ye ought to be beloved; yea, and ye ought to have stirred yourselves more diligently for the welfare and the freedom of this people; but behold, ye have neglected them insomuch that the blood of thousands shall come upon your heads for vengeance; yea, for known unto God were all their cries, and all their sufferings-- 11 Behold, could ye suppose that ye could sit upon your thrones, and because of the exceeding goodness of God ye could do nothing and he would deliver you? Behold, if ye have supposed this ye have supposed in vain. 12 Do ye suppose that, because so many of your brethren have been killed it is because of their wickedness? I say unto you, if ye have supposed this ye have supposed in vain; for I say unto you, there are many who have fallen by the sword; and behold it is to your condemnation; 13 For the Lord suffereth the righteous to be slain that his justice and judgment may come upon the wicked; therefore ye need not suppose that the righteous are lost because they are slain; but behold, they do enter into the rest of the Lord their God. 14 And now behold, I say unto you, I fear exceedingly that the judgments of God will come upon this people, because of their exceeding slothfulness, yea, even the slothfulness of our government, and their exceedingly great neglect towards their brethren, yea, towards those who have been slain. 15 For were it not for the wickedness which first commenced at our head, we could have withstood our enemies that they could have gained no power over us. 16 Yea, had it not been for the war which broke out among ourselves; yea, were it not for these king-men, who caused so much bloodshed among ourselves; yea, at the time we were contending among ourselves, if we had united our strength as we hitherto have done; yea, had it not been for the desire of power and authority which those king-men had over us; had they been true to the cause of our freedom, and united with us, and gone forth against our enemies, instead of taking up their swords against us, which was the cause of so much bloodshed among ourselves; yea, if we had gone forth against them in the strength of the Lord, we should have dispersed our enemies, for it would have been done, according to the fulfilling of his word. 17 But behold, now the Lamanites are coming upon us, taking possession of our lands, and they are murdering our people with the sword, yea, our women and our children, and also carrying them away captive, causing them that they should suffer all manner of afflictions, and this because of the great wickedness of those who are seeking for power and authority, yea, even those king-men. 18 But why should I say much concerning this matter? For we know not but what ye yourselves are seeking for authority. We know not but what ye are also traitors to your country. 19 Or is it that ye have neglected us because ye are in the heart of our country and ye are surrounded by security, that ye do not cause food to be sent unto us, and also men to strengthen our armies? 20 Have ye forgotten the commandments of the Lord your God? Yea, have ye forgotten the captivity of our fathers? Have ye forgotten the many times we have been delivered out of the hands of our enemies? 21 Or do ye suppose that the Lord will still deliver us, while we sit upon our thrones and do not make use of the means which the Lord has provided for us? 22 Yea, will ye sit in idleness while ye are surrounded with thousands of those, yea, and tens of thousands, who do also sit in idleness, while there are thousands round about in the borders of the land who are falling by the sword, yea, wounded and bleeding? 23 Do ye suppose that God will look upon you as guiltless while ye sit still and behold these things? Behold I say unto you, Nay. Now I would that ye should remember that God has said that the inward vessel shall be cleansed first, and then shall the outer vessel be cleansed also. 24 And now, except ye do repent of that which ye have done, and begin to be up and doing, and send forth food and men unto us, and also unto Helaman, that he may support those parts of our country which he has regained, and that we may also recover the remainder of our possessions in these parts, behold it will be expedient that we contend no more with the Lamanites until we have first cleansed our inward vessel, yea, even the great head of our government. 25 And except ye grant mine epistle, and come out and show unto me a true spirit of freedom, and strive to strengthen and fortify our armies, and grant unto them food for their support, behold I will leave a part of my freemen to maintain this part of our land, and I will leave the strength and the blessings of God upon them, that none other power can operate against them-- 26 And this because of their exceeding faith, and their patience in their tribulations-- 27 And I will come unto you, and if there be any among you that has a desire for freedom, yea, if there be even a spark of freedom remaining, behold I will stir up insurrections among you, even until those who have desires to usurp power and authority shall become extinct. 28 Yea, behold I do not fear your power nor your authority, but it is my God whom I fear; and it is according to his commandments that I do take my sword to defend the cause of my country, and it is because of your iniquity that we have suffered so much loss. 29 Behold it is time, yea, the time is now at hand, that except ye do bestir yourselves in the defence of your country and your little ones, the sword of justice doth hang over you; yea, and it shall fall upon you and visit you even to your utter destruction. 30 Behold, I wait for assistance from you; and, except ye do administer unto our relief, behold, I come unto you, even in the land of Zarahemla, and smite you with the sword, insomuch that ye can have no more power to impede the progress of this people in the cause of our freedom. 31 For behold, the Lord will not suffer that ye shall live and wax strong in your iniquities to destroy his righteous people. 32 Behold, can you suppose that the Lord will spare you and come out in judgment against the Lamanites, when it is the tradition of their fathers that has caused their hatred, yea, and it has been redoubled by those who have dissented from us, while your iniquity is for the cause of your love of glory and the vain things of the world? 33 Ye know that ye do transgress the laws of God, and ye do know that ye do trample them under your feet. Behold, the Lord saith unto me: If those whom ye have appointed your governors do not repent of their sins and iniquities, ye shall go up to battle against them. 34 And now behold, I, Moroni, am constrained, according to the covenant which I have made to keep the commandments of my God; therefore I would that ye should adhere to the word of God, and send speedily unto me of your provisions and of your men, and also to Helaman. 35 And behold, if ye will not do this I come unto you speedily; for behold, God will not suffer that we should perish with hunger; therefore he will give unto us of your food, even if it must be by the sword. Now see that ye fulfil the word of God. 36 Behold, I am Moroni, your chief captain. I seek not for power, but to pull it down. I seek not for honor of the world, but for the glory of my God, and the freedom and welfare of my country. And thus I close mine epistle. (Alma 60:1-36)

Tribute to Mitt Romney by Art Bulla Sun, Jan 22, 2012
Mitt Romney is naturally meek. This is because he is an Israelite. This meekness is misunderstood for weakness. Mitt Romney is totally dedicated to ideals. Newt Gingrich on the other hand is dedicated to his appetites, to self. Mitt Romney on the other hand, is selfless. How do I know this? By the gift of discernment of spirits that is how I know it. Newt Gingrich surged into popularity recently simply and totally because of anti-Mormon bigotry among a so-called "evangelical" electorate, whose fathers murdered the Prophet Joseph Smith in cold blood and his brother Hiram for exposing their chicanery. Christian doctrine compared with the Book of Acts as to the pattern of salvation:
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 17 Then laid they [their] hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. (Acts 8:12-25)
Evangelicals today do not preach the necessity of baptism plainly taught in the Scripture above. They also, along with all sectarian Christians, do not teach the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost as taught anciently. Therefore their "gospel" is nothing more than the chicanery of Simon the sorcerer.
Mitt Romney is naturally meek. This is because he is an Israelite. This meekness is misunderstood for weakness. Mitt Romney is totally dedicated to ideals. Newt Gingrich on the other hand is dedicated to his appetites, to himself. Mitt Romney objectively is selfless.
How Evangelicals Contradict the Bible in their Theology: 12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. 14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 17 Then laid they [their] hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. 18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. 20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. 21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and [in] the bond of iniquity. 24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me. 25 And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
(Acts 8:12-25)
Evangelicals today do not preach the necessity of baptism plainly taught in the Scripture above. They also, along with all sectarian Christians, do not teach the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost as taught anciently. Therefore their "gospel" is nothing more than the chicanery of Simon the sorcerer described above and is just as reprehensible, saith the Lord. They ought to be ashamed, for with the Bible in their hand, they contradict it. But if the truth be told, they are deceived by false ministers, as this Simon the Sorcerer, for they do not read the Bible for themselves. I prophesy in the name of Israel's God that the judgments of God shall be poured out upon this generation because of their ignorance and bigotry against the truths of heaven.
Letter to Joseph Smith while incarcerated at Carthage Illinois just previous to his martyrdom:;
We received some letters last evening-one from Emma, one from Don C. Smith, and one from Bishop Partridge-all breathing a kind and consoling spirit. We were much gratified with their contents. We had been a long time without information; and when we read those letters they were to our souls as the gentle air is refreshing, but our joy was mingled with grief, because of the sufferings of the poor and much injured Saints. And we need not say to you that the floodgates of our hearts were lifted and our eyes were a fountain of tears, but those who have not been enclosed in the walls of prison without cause or provocation, can have but little idea how sweet the voice of a friend is; one token of friendship from any source whatever awakens and calls into action every sympathetic feeling; it brings up in an instant everything that is passed; it seizes the present with the avidity of lightning; it grasps after the future with the fierceness of a tiger; it moves the mind backward and forward, from one thing to another, until finally all enmity, malice and hatred, and past differences, misunderstandings and mismanagements are slain victorious at the feet of hope; and when the heart is sufficiently contrite, then the voice of inspiration steals along and whispers- Let the Saints remember that great things depend on their individual exertion, and that they are called to be co-workers with us and the Holy Spirit in accomplishing the great work of the last days; and in consideration of the extent, the blessings and glories of the same, let every selfish feeling be not only buried, but annihilated; and let love to God and man predominate, and reign triumphant in every mind, that their hearts may become like unto Enoch's of old, and comprehend all things, present, past and future, and come behind in no gift, waiting for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The great Jehovah contemplated the whole of the events connected with the earth, pertaining to the plan of salvation, before it rolled into existence, or ever "the morning stars sang together" for joy; the past, the present, and the future were and are, with Him, one eternal "now;" He knew of the fall of Adam, the iniquities of the antediluvians, of the depth of iniquity that would be connected with the human family, their weakness and strength, their power and glory, apostasies, their crimes, their righteousness and iniquity; He comprehended the fall of man, and his redemption; He knew the plan of salvation and pointed it out; He was acquainted with the situation of all nations and with their destiny; He ordered all things according to the council of His own will; He knows the situation of both the living and the dead, and has made ample provision for their redemption, according to their several circumstances, and the laws of the kingdom of God, whether in this world, or in the world to come.

The Deadly Deed
Soon afterwards I was sitting at one of the front windows of the jail, when I saw a number of men, with painted faces, coming round the corner of the jail, and aiming towards the stairs. The other brethren had seen the same, for, as I went to the door, I found Brother Hyrum Smith and Dr. Richards already leaning against it. They both pressed against the door with their shoulders to prevent its being opened, as the lock and latch were comparatively useless. While in this position, the mob, who had come upstairs, and tried to open the door, probably thought it was locked, and fired a ball through the keyhole; at this Dr. Richards and Brother Hyrum leaped back from the door, with their faces towards it; almost instantly another ball passed through the panel of the door, and struck Brother Hyrum on the left side of the nose, entering his face and head. At the same instant, another ball from the outside entered his back, passing through his body and striking his watch. The ball came from the back, through the jail window, opposite the door, and must, from its range, have been fired from the Carthage Greys, who were placed there ostensibly for our protection, as the balls from the firearms, shot close by the jail, would have entered the ceiling, we being in the second story, and there never was a time after that when Hyrum could have received the latter wound. Immediately, when the ball struck him, he fell flat on his back, crying as he fell, "I am a dead man!" He never moved afterwards. I shall never forget the feeling of deep sympathy and regard manifested in the countenance of Brother Joseph as he drew nigh to Hyrum, and, leaning over him exclaimed, "Oh! my poor, dear brother Hyrum!" He, however, instantly arose, and with a firm, quick step, and a determined expression of countenance, approached the door, and pulling the six-shooter left by Brother Wheelock from his pocket, opened the door slightly and snapped the pistol six successive times; only three of the barrels, however, were discharged. I afterwards understood that two or three were wounded by these discharges, two of whom, I am informed, died. I had in my hands a large, strong hickory stick brought there by Brother Markham, and left by him, which I had seized as soon as I saw the mob approach; and while Brother Joseph was firing the pistol, I stood close behind him. As soon as he had discharged it he stepped back, and I immediately took his place next to the door, while he occupied the one I had done while he was shooting. Brother Richards, at this time, had a knotty walking-stick in his hands belonging to me, and stood next to Brother Joseph, a little farther from the door, in an oblique direction, apparently to avoid the rake of the fire from the door. The firing of Brother Joseph made our assailants pause for a moment; very soon after, however, they pushed the door some distance open, and protruded and discharged their guns into the room, when I parried them off with my stick, giving another direction to the balls. It certainly was a terrible scene: streams of fire as thick as my arm passed by me as these men fired, and, unarmed as we were, it looked like certain death. I remember feeling as though my time had come, but I do not know when, in any critical position, I was more calm, unruffled, and energetic, and acted with more promptness and decision. It certainly was far from pleasant to be so near the muzzles of those firearms as they belched forth their liquid flame and deadly balls. While I was engaged in parrying the guns, Brother Joseph said, "That's right, Brother Taylor, parry them off as well as you can." These were the last words I ever heard him speak on earth. Every moment the crowd at the door became more dense, as they were unquestionably pressed on by those in the rear ascending the stairs, until the whole entrance at the door was literally crowded with muskets and rifles, which, with the swearing, shouting, and demoniacal expressions of those outside the door and on the stairs, and the firing of guns, mingled with their horrid oaths and execrations, made it look like pandemonium let loose, and was, indeed, a fit representation of the horrid deed in which they were engaged. After parrying the guns for some time, which now protruded thicker and farther into the room, and seeing no hope of escape or protection there, as we were now unarmed, it occurred to me that we might have some friends outside, and that there might be some chance of escape in that direction, but here there seemed to be none. As I expected them every moment to rush into the room-nothing but extreme cowardice having kept them out-as the tumult and pressure increased, without any other hope, I made a spring for the window which was right in front of the jail door, where the mob was standing, and also exposed to the fire of the Carthage Greys, who were stationed some ten or twelve rods off. The weather was hot, we all of us had our coats off, and the window was raised to admit air. As I reached the window, and was on the point of leaping out, I was struck by a ball from the door about midway of my thigh, which struck the bone, and flattened out almost to the size of a quarter of a dollar, and then passed on through the fleshy part to within about half an inch of the outside. I think some prominent nerve must have been severed or injured for, as soon as the ball struck me, I fell like a bird when shot, or an ox when struck by a butcher, and lost entirely and instantaneously all power of action or locomotion. I fell upon the windowsill and cried out, "I am shot!" Not possessing any power to move, I felt myself falling outside of the window, but immediately I fell inside, from some, at that time, unknown cause. When I struck the floor my animation seemed restored, as I have seen it sometimes in squirrels and birds after being shot. As soon as I felt the power of motion I crawled under the bed, which was in a corner of the room, not far from the window where I received my wound. While on the way and under the bed I was wounded in three other places; one ball entered a little below the left knee, and never was extracted; another entered the forepart of my left arm, a little above the wrist, and, passing down by the joint, lodged in the fleshy part of my hand, about midway, a little above the upper joint of my little finger; another struck me on the fleshy part of my left hip, and tore away the flesh as large as my hand, dashing the mangled fragments of flesh and blood against the wall. My wounds were painful, and the sensation produced was as though a ball had passed through and down the whole length of my leg. I very well remember my reflections at the time. I had a very painful idea of becoming lame and decrepid, and being an object of pity, and I felt as though I would rather die than be placed in such circumstances. It would seem that immediately after my attempt to leap out of the window, Joseph also did the same thing, of which circumstance I have no knowledge, only from information. The first thing that I noticed was a cry that he had leaped out of the window. A cessation of firing followed, the mob rushed downstairs, and Dr. Richards went to the window. Immediately afterward I saw the doctor going towards the jail door, and as there was an iron door at the head of the stairs, adjoining our door which led into the cells for criminals, it struck me that the doctor was going there, and I said to him, "Stop, Doctor, and take me along." He proceeded to the door and opened it, and then returned and dragged me along to a small cell prepared for criminals. Brother Richards was very much troubled, and exclaimed, "Oh! Brother Taylor, is it possible that they have killed both Brother Hyrum and Joseph? it cannot surely be, and yet I saw them shoot them;" and elevating his hands two or three times, he exclaimed, "Oh Lord, my God, spare Thy servants!" He then said, "Brother Taylor, this is a terrible event;" and he dragged me farther into the cell, saying, "I am sorry I can not do better for you;" and, taking an old, filthy mattress, he covered me with it, and said, "That may hide you, and you may yet live to tell the tale, but I expect they will kill me in a few moments." While lying in this position I suffered the most excruciating pain. Soon afterwards Dr. Richards came to me, informed me that the mob had precipitately fled, and at the same time confirmed my worst fears that Joseph was assuredly dead. I felt a dull, lonely, sickening sensation at the news. When I reflected that our noble chieftain, the Prophet of the living God, had fallen, and that I had seen his brother in the cold embrace of death, it seemed as though there was a void or vacuum in the great field of human existence to me, and a dark gloomy chasm in the kingdom, and that we were left alone. Oh, how lonely was the feeling! How cold, barren and desolate! In the midst of difficulties he was always the first in motion; in critical positions his counsel was always sought. As our Prophet he approached our God, and obtained for us his will; but now our Prophet, our counselor, our general, our leader, was gone, and amid the fiery ordeal that we then had to pass through, we were left alone without his aid, and as our future guide for things spiritual or temporal, and for all things pertaining to this world, or the next, he had spoken for the last time on earth. These reflections and a thousand others flashed upon my mind. I thought, why must the good perish, and the virtuous be destroyed? Why must God's nobility, the salt of the earth, the most exalted of the human family, and the most perfect types of all excellence, fall victims to the cruel, fiendish hate of incarnate devils? The poignancy of my grief, I presume, however, was somewhat allayed by the extreme suffering that I endured from my wounds.

Soon afterwards I was taken to the head of the stairs and laid there, where I had a full view of our beloved and now murdered brother, Hyrum. There he lay as I had left him; he had not moved a limb; he lay placid and calm, a monument of greatness even in death; but his noble spirit had left its tenement, and was gone to dwell in regions more congenial to its exalted nature. Poor Hyrum! He was a great and good man, and my soul was cemented to his. If ever there was an exemplary, honest, and virtuous man, an embodiment of all that is noble in the human form, Hyrum Smith was its representative. While I lay there a number of persons came around, among whom was a physician. The doctor, on seeing a ball lodged in my left hand, took a penknife from his pocket and made an incision in it for the purpose of extracting the ball therefrom, and having obtained a pair of carpenter's compasses, made use of them to draw or pry out the ball, alternately using the penknife and compasses. After sawing for some time with a dull penknife, and prying and pulling with the compasses, he ultimately succeeded in extracting the ball, which weighed about half an ounce. Some time afterwards he remarked to a friend of mine, that I had "nerves like the devil" to stand what I did in its extraction. I really thought I had need of nerves to stand such surgical butchery, and that, whatever my nerves may be, his practice was devilish. This company wished to remove me to Mr. Hamilton's Hotel, the place where we had stayed previous to our incarceration in jail. I told them, however, that I did not wish to go: I did not consider it safe. They protested that it was, and that I was safe with them; that it was a perfect outrage for men to be used as we had been; that they were my friends; that it was for my good they were counseling me, and that I could be better taken care of there than here. I replied, "I don't know you. Whom am I among? I am surrounded by assassins and murderers; witness your deeds! Don't talk to me of kindness or comfort; look at your murdered victims. Look at me! I want none of your counsel nor comfort. There may be some safety here; I can be assured of none anywhere," etc. They G___ d_____ their souls to hell, made the most solemn asseverations, and swore by God and the devil, and everything else that they could think of, that they would stand by me to death and protect me. In half an hour every one of them had fled from the town.1 Soon after a coroner's jury were assembled in the room over the body of Hyrum. Among the jurors was Captain Smith of the "Carthage Greys," who had assisted in the murder, and the same justice before whom we had been tried. I learned of Francis Higbee as being in the neighborhood. On hearing his name mentioned, I immediately rose and said: "Captain Smith, you are a justice of the peace; I have heard his name mentioned; I want to swear my life against him." I was informed that word was immediately sent to him to leave the place, which he did. Brother Richards was busy during this time attending to the coroner's inquest, and to the removal of the bodies, and making arrangements for their removal from Carthage to Nauvoo. When he had a little leisure, he again came to me, and at his suggestion I was removed to Hamilton's Tavern. I felt that he was the only friend, the only person, that I could rely upon in that town. It was with difficulty that sufficient persons could be found to carry me to the tavern; for immediately after the murder a great fear fell upon all the people, and men, women, and children fled with great precipitation, leaving nothing nor anybody in the town but two or three women and children and one or two sick persons. It was with great difficulty that Brother Richards prevailed upon Mr. Hamilton, hotelkeeper, and his family, to stay; they would not until Brother Richards had given a solemn promise that he would see them protected, and hence I was looked upon as a hostage. Under these circumstances, notwithstanding, I believe they were hostile to the "Mormons", and were glad that the murder had taken place, although they did not actually participate in it; and, feeling that I should be a protection to them they stayed. The whole community knew that a dreadful outrage had been perpetrated by those villains, and fearing lest the citizens of Nauvoo, as they possessed the power, might have a disposition to visit them with a terrible vengeance, they fled in the wildest confusion. And, indeed, it was with very great difficulty that the citizens of Nauvoo could be restrained. A horrid, barbarous murder had been committed, the most solemn pledge violated, and that, too, while the victims were, contrary to the requirements of the law, putting themselves into the hands of the governor to pacify a popular excitement. This outrage was enhanced by the reflection that our people were able to protect ourselves against not only all the mob, but against three times their number and that of the governor's troops put together. They were also exasperated by the speech of the governor in town. The whole events were so faithless, so dastardly, so mean, cowardly, and contemptible, without one extenuating circumstance, that it would not have been surprising if the citizens of Nauvoo had arisen, en masse, and blotted the wretches out of existence. The citizens of Carthage knew they would have done so under such circumstances, and, judging us by themselves, they were all panic-stricken, and fled. Colonel Markam, too, after his expulsion from Carthage, had gone home, related the circumstances of his ejectment, and was using his influence to get a company to go out. Fearing that when the people heard that their Prophet and Patriarch had been murdered under the above circumstances they might act rashly, and knowing that, if they once got roused, like a mighty avalanche, they would lay the country waste before them and take a terrible vengeance-as none of the Twelve were in Nauvoo, and no one, perhaps, with sufficient influence to control the people, Dr. Richards, after consulting me, wrote the following note, fearing that my family might be seriously affected by the news. I told him to insert that I was slightly wounded. Willard Richards' note from Carthage Jail to Nauvoo. Carthage Jail, 8 o'clock 5 min. p.m. June 27th, 1944. Joseph and Hyrum are dead. Taylor wounded, not very badly. I am well. Our guard was forced, as we believe, by a band of Missourians from 100 to 200. The job was done in an instant, and the party fled towards Nauvoo instantly. This is as I believe it. The citizens here are afraid of the "Mormons" attacking them; I promise them, no! [Signed] W. Richards.

The Church is really no different today, and thus saith the Lord, it is the modern Whore of All the Earth as identified by2 Nephi 28:

There are two "whores" spoken in the book of Mormon. Henrik's Testimony and 1886 Revelation to John Taylor
by Art Bulla
Thu, Jan 12, 201233 As well might man stretch forth his puny arm to stop the Missouri river in its decreed course, as to hinder the Almighty from pouring down knowledge from heaven upon the heads of the Latter-day Saints. (D&C 121:33)
Henrik, a 3rd generation Mormon in the Netherlands, delivered a discourse on his search for truth and finding the One Mighty and Strong, and his coming to a knowledge of great and important truths not currently taught among the Mormons, indeed which are currently covered up: not the least of which is the astonishing 1886 Revelation to John Taylor which has been seen in the First Presidency Vault (not the archives), by Raymond Taylor, Grandson of John Taylor, and son of John W. Taylor. These three earthshaking doctrines, Adam God, the One Mighty and Strong, and The 1886 Revelation, which have shaken modern mainstream Mormonism to the core, and would totally alter the worldview of the same, were it not for the aforementioned coverup, the "refuge of lies" spoken of in Isaiah 28:
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. 17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. 18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. (Isa 28:15-18)
A Visit and Revelation from the Saviour in 1886!
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which [is] in Jerusalem.
Isaiah 28:15 15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:Isaiah 28:16 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.Isaiah 28:17 17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.Isaiah 28:18 18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. Did you know the modern Mormon lies when he says polygamy was suspended by a revelation from God? Here, on the contrary, is the mind and will of Israel's God Concerning the Matter: the 1886 Revelation to John Taylor, the third President of the Mormon Church who would not sign a "manifesto" suspending polygamy at the behest of rich monogamous bankers and businessmen who wanted the government off their backs, because the Edmonds-Tucker act recently passed by Congress threatened to disenfranchise them and threatened to deny them their riches! Here is the revelation in John's own handwriting, which the Mormons have in a vault, and which was seen by Raymond Taylor the Grandson of John Taylor, and brother to Samuel Taylor who wrote a book titled Nightfall at Nauvoo which was for a time on the NY Times bestseller list. Despite possessing the revelation, they (Mormondom) deny its existence. Didn't their mothers teach these craven cowards not to lie? Joseph F. Smith, sixth President of the Mormon Church testified truthfully before Congress (Smoot Investigation) over ten years past the manifesto of 1890 suspending polygamy that he had five wives!
Revelation from the Lord To John Taylor, in 1886 Concerning a Manifesto Presented to Him to Sign at that Time
he original of this document was found by John W. Taylor, the son of President Taylor, and executor to the estate of his Father, among the papers lying upon his desk at President Taylor’s death. It now is in a secret room along with John Taylor’s journal, in the LDS Church Historical Department (though they deny it, for it has been seen by Raymond W. Taylor as per statements made by Samuel W. Taylor, grandson of John and son of John W.), and it proves the Church has gone contrary to the mind and will of the Lord God of Israel and was never presented to the Church. But the negro-priesthood ‘‘revelation’’ from the IRS was never presented to the Church either. Elders should explain the circumstances the heads of the Church were under at the time: There was a $300 reward on the head of John Taylor, and a five hundred dollar reward on the head of George Q. Cannon, to intentionally insult the President of the Church by placing a higher reward on the head of his counselor! They were in hiding for three years being chased by US Marshals! Extreme pressure was brought to bear upon the heads of the Church to surrender the principle of Plural Marriage by the members themselves, who were rich monogamous businessmen. At the behest of such men, George Q. Cannon drew up a ‘‘manifesto’’ and asked President Taylor to inquire of the Lord concerning its adoption to get the government off their backs. President Taylor received the following revelation:
REVELATION TO JOHN TAYLOR, SEPT. 26, 1886: My son John, you have asked me concerning the New and Everlasting Covenant, how far it is binding upon my people. Thus saith the Lord, All commandments that I give must be obeyed by those calling themselves by my name unless they are revoked by me or by my authority, And how can I revoke an everlasting covenant; for I the Lord am everlasting and my everlasting covenants cannot be abrogated nor done away with; but they stand forever. Have I not given my word in great plainness on this subject? Yet have not great numbers of my people been negligent in the observance of my law and the keeping of my commandments? and yet have I borne with them these many years, and this because of their weakness, because of the perilous times, and furthermore, it is more pleasing to me that men should use their free agency in regard to these matters. Nevertheless, I the Lord do not change, and my word and my law do not. And as I have heretofore said by my servant Joseph, All those who would enter into my glory must and shall obey my law, and have I not commanded men that if they were Abraham’s seed and would enter into my glory, they must do the works of Abraham? I have not revoked this law, nor will I, for it is everlasting, and those who will enter into my glory must obey the conditions thereof, even so, Amen.
A statement from the Son of John Taylor who was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve in 1911, John W. Taylor, who had been visited by the Saviour also.
John W. Taylor: ‘‘My Father received a revelation which however was never presented to the Church, and I refer to this not because it was a revelation to my Father; I don’t think a revelation because it came through him was any greater than one received through any other President of the Church...This revelation is either true or it is false. Assuming that it is true, it seems to me that it would be better to offer leniency on the side of the Lord, if you are to offer any leniency, than on the side of politics...Brother Lyman, what do you think of the revelation to my Father?’’ Minutes of Council of Twelve Meeting concerning fellowship of John W. Taylor, son of John Taylor, and Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, held in the Salt Lake Temple, February 22, 1911, at 10 am, at which were present: President Francis M. Lyman, Heber J. Grant, Hyrum M. Smith, Charles W. Penrose, George F. Richards, Orson F. Whitney, David O. Mckay, Anthony W. Ivins, and Joseph F. Smith, Jr.
The Circumstances Surrounding the Meeting of 1886 in Centerville, Utah (pages taken from
Keys to the Priesthood Illustrated by Lyn L and Stephen L. Bishop of Draper, Utah:
I might give here, an explanation of my coming in contact with the book mentioned above. One day in Spring of 1974, while attending Brigham Young University I took a required class on the
Book of Mormon taught by George W. Pace, held in the Joseph Smith auditorium. George, whom I admired greatly at the time, used this classroom as an opportunity to instill in young attendees, what is known as a "testimony" of the precepts and principles of the Gospel. He at this class meeting had a "question and answer period" in which students were encouraged to ask questions on theology which puzzled them or otherwise mystified them. After several questions had been asked and answered by Bro. Pace, a returned missionary stood up in the back of the auditorium, which had an echo, and asked in the loud voice, "While I was on my mission in ___________ (I can't remember the place) some anti-Mormons gave us literature which quoted Brigham Young teaching that Adam was God. Would you please tell me if this is true, and if Brigham Young taught this, was he wrong?" Bro. Pace paused a moment before replying and answered: "The documents are in Special Collections on the fifth floor of the Harold B. Lee Library (which was right next door to the Joseph Smith auditorium). I urge you to go up and read the documents for yourself and make your own judgment." This created a hue and cry of astonishment from the class, and this was only my second time that I had heard the Adam-God theory mentioned. I waited for everyone to file out of the auditorium and left to myself, alone, I raised my voice to God asking Him on the subject. Whereupon I was seized upon by the almighty Power and Spirit of God which descended upon me, and I was almost physically picked up and carried by the Spirit to the Harold B. Lee library, to the fifth floor, I think it was, but right over to the bookshelf where this book Keys to the Priesthood Illustrated by Lyn L and Stephen L. Bishop of Draper, Utah was located. I immediately checked it out, carried it home and began to read. A spirit of fear then came upon me, that I was being deceived, so I took the book back and to the librarian on that floor I protested that such "apostate literature" could be had in this of all libraries! Later I have been revealed in too numerous instances to mention the veracity of almost every detail of the book. So when I borrow from it you can have my recommendation that these things are verily true and no twisting of the facts have occurred by these authors, whom I thank gratefully for their labor and sacrifice in bringing these things to light. There is one severe caveat, as per revelation to me that the conclusion of this book, that there is an "Indian Prophet" who will set in order the house of God is completely inaccurate and is false doctrine, saith the Lord. So, even out of the "best books" one must have revelation to guide him or he will fall into grievous errors and perish. "The hand, the eye, the senses may all be deceived, but the spirit of God cannot be deceived, and when a man is filled with that spirit, he knows that which is beyond the power of any man to controvert." Brigham Young.
Apostle Matthias Cowley: ‘‘Brother Penrose told me once in the city of Mexico, that he had written the manifesto, and it was gotten up so that it did not mean anything and President Smith told me the same. I mention these things only to show the training I have had from those over me.’’ Minutes of Council of Twelve Meeting concerning fellowship of the same.
‘‘A sister in Bristol, England, who was procrastinating baptism because of her lack of testimony of the truth of plural marriage, of a sudden accepted baptism, explaining that she had received an answer from God on the subject. She explained that an audible voice from the Lord said, ‘that Plural Marriage is true and was instituted from before the foundation of the world.’’’ Diary of Elder Thomas Rosser.
‘‘Upon hearing this, Brother Smith and I left, rejoicing because of the testimony she had borne to us. ...On Monday morning, the 25th of May our Conference Priesthood Meeting was held...After the preliminary exercises, President Charles W. Penrose asked if any of the brethren had any questions...I said, ‘I have heard much discussion on the Principle of Plural Marriage, some saying that it is withdrawn from the earth and that the Manifesto was a revelation from God. Dear President, what about this case?’ Then I related to him the testimony of the Sister, which is written above, and then I asked him, ‘Why should she receive this testimony if God has withdrawn that principle from the earth, and the Manifesto is a true revelation from God? ‘‘President Penrose then rose to his feet, scratched the side of his head with his right hand for a moment or so, then stretched out his right hand toward us and said: ‘Brethren, I will answer that question, if you will keep it under your hats. I, Charles W. Penrose wrote the manifesto with the assistance of Frank J. Cannon and John White. It’s no revelation from God, for I wrote it. Wilford Woodruff signed it to beat the devil at his own game. Brethren how can God withdraw an everlasting principle from the earth? He has not, and cannot, and I testify to you as a servant of God that this is true. Is the Manifesto A Revelation?, R.C. Newson, 7-8. (taken from Keys of the Priesthood Illustrated; Lynn. L. and Stephen L. Bishop, p.204.)
I, Art Bulla, testify that the Holy Ghost has borne unto me that the foregoing testimonies are true.
The Manifesto
(This is what the Mormons are told by their corrupt leadership is the "revelation from God" suspending polygamy.)
Reading the manifesto shows that it is manifestly from man, not from God, as proven by the language contained therein:
To Whom It May Concern: (Would an Omnipotent Deity speak thus?)
"Press dispatches having been sent for political purposes, from Salt Lake City, which have been widely published, to the effect that the Utah Commission in their recent report to the Secretary of the Interior, allege that plural marriages are still being solemnized and that 40 or more such marriages have been contracted in Utah since last June or during the past year, also that in public discourses the leaders of the Church have taught, encouraged and urged the continuance of the practice of polygamy- I, therefor, as President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, do hereby, in the most solemn manner declare that these charges are false. We are not teaching polygamy or plural marriage, nor permitting any person to enter into this practice...’’
‘‘But this much I know from the lips of my Aunt Nellie. She was going to her work at the temple one morning, right after this new declaration on plural marriage that they issued, I think in 1933; and I believe it was when J. Reuben Clark first came into the Presidency-about that time--denouncing this thing anew. And she met Joseph Fielding Smith, and they stopped and chatted a few minutes, and she said, ‘Brother Smith, I’m very much surprised at that statement in the paper this morning.’ And he said, ‘How so, Sister Taylor?’ ‘Well’, she said, ‘You surely know about that revelation.’ He said, ‘do you know about that revelation, Sister Taylor?’ She said, ‘Why, certainly.’ ‘Do you know where such a revelation might be?’ She said, ‘Yes.’ And he said, ‘Well, Sister Taylor, you would confer a great favor upon the Church if you would bring that to me as Church Historian.’ and she said, ‘Well, I’ll see what can be done about it.’ ‘‘So she went over to the Templeton Building soon after to see Uncle Frank Y. Taylor (President of the Granite Stake for 25 or 30 years), and she told him of this experience. She said, ‘Uncle Frank, perhaps we’d better get that revelation and give it to Brother Smith.’ And he said, ‘Well, I’ll think about it and see about it, Nellie, and let you know.’ ‘‘Well time went on--I don’t know just how much, maybe a few weeks, maybe a month or two--and she met Brother Smith again. And he said, ‘Sister Taylor, you haven’t fulfilled that assignment I gave you.’ And she said, ‘Haven’t I? I thought I had. I did what I could at the time.’ He said, ‘No, that has never come into my hands.’ So she said, ‘Well, I’ll see about it again.’ So she went back to Frank Y. Taylor, who was a full brother of John W. and she said, ‘Uncle Frank, Joseph Fielding Smith spoke to me again about that revelation.’ And he said, ‘Well I’ll take care of it.’ So she left it that way. In a few days he came to her and said,‘I’m going to tell you the final chapter on that situation. I went to Rodney Badger, who was at one time in the Church Bank and had been given this revelation (as I understand) by John W. Taylor for safe keeping. I think they were brother-inlaw, or something. So he had put that in a safety deposit box and kept it there. He got it out and gave it to Frank Y. Taylor. After Brother Taylor had it in his hands, he got to thinking; and he thought, ‘Well, I don’t believe that it’s proper to give this to the Church Historian. I think I should take it to the Prophet himself.’ So he took it in to President Heber J. Grant. They had been boys together and close friends on up through the years, and he said: ‘Heber, was my Father a Prophet of the Lord?’ ‘Why Frank, why do you ask that? Of course he was. We all know that.’ And he said, ‘Would you recognize the handwriting of my Father?’ He said, ‘Yes I would know your Father’s handwriting well.’ So he passed this out and said, ‘I want you to read that (1886 Revelation), and tell me if that’s in the handwriting of my Father.’ Well he did and President Grant said, ‘Well, it certainly is the handwriting of your Father-I know that as well as I know anything.’ And Frank Taylor asked, ‘How do you expect to get around that?’ he said, ‘I don’t expect to get around it.’ ‘Well then, Heber, if I were you, I would be very careful with what I said.’ Private Interview with a Niece of Nellie Taylor; Transcript in Possession of Lynn and Stephen Bishop of Draper, Utah.
Heber J. Grant’s carefully worded denial that Frank and Nellie Taylor were referring: ‘‘It is alleged that on Sept. 26, 1886, President John Taylor received a revelation from the Lord, the purported text of which is given in a publication circulated apparently by or at the instance of this same organization. As to this pretended revelation it should be said that the archives contain no record of any such revelation, nor any evidence justifying a belief that any such revelation, nor any evidence justifying a belief that any such revelation was ever given. From the personal knowledge of some of us, from the uniform and common recollection of the presiding quorums of the Church, from the absence in the Church Archives (it is in a vault in the First Presidency Office, not the Archives) of any evidence whatsoever justifying any belief that any such revelation was given, we are justified in affirming that no such revelation exists. Deseret News; June 17, 1933; p.4.
What BYU Scholars Have Said Concerning 1886 Revelation: ‘‘The family of John Taylor claims that the revelation referred to above was found in the prophet-leader’s papers and the original was given to the Church Historian. Since that time it has not been available to the public and the ChurchHistorian allegedly has declared that it is not in the Church Historian’s Library. However Dean Jesse concluded in his study that it is highly probable that such a revelation does exist.’’
Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought; Autumn, 1970, pg. 15, footnote 10.
Minutes of the Church Trial of John W. Taylor: ‘‘The date of this Revelation is Sept. 1886, four years before the Manifesto of President Woodruff and I remember at that time that President Taylor and all his brethren were very strongly entrenched in the principle of plural marriage. From 1880-1890 men were almost commanded to enter it, especially the officials of the Church...’’ Published Minutes of John W. Taylor’s Church Trial.
Quote from John Taylor:
John Taylor's watch was struck with a ball which saved his life, fired in Carthage Jail when he and others were attacked by the mob that killed Joseph Smith.
‘‘God has given me a revelation in regard to celestial marriage, I did not make it...Yet they would like us to tone that principle down, and change it, and make it applicable to the views of the day. Yet they would like us to tone that principle down, and change it, and make it applicable to the views of the day.’’ This we cannot do, nor can we interfere with any of the commandments of god to meet the persuasions and behest of men. I cannot do it and will not do it. I find some men trying to twist round the principle in any way and every way they can. They want to sneak out of it in some way. Now, God doesn’t want any sycophancy like that. He expects us to be true to Him and the principles he has delivered, and to feel as Job did, ‘Though he slay me, yet will I trust him.’ ...These are our feelings in relation to this matter. We have been told that, ‘It is not meet that men who will not abide my law shall preside over my priesthood’, and yet some people would like very much to do it. Well they cannot do it. If God has introduced something for our glory and exaltation, we are not going to have that kicked over by improper influences), neither inside or outside of the Church of the living God.’’ John Taylor, JD 25:309.
‘‘They’’ now hold the balance of power in the Church, saith the Lord, for ‘‘they’’ are still changing the principles to apply them to the ‘‘views of the day’’, which ‘‘they’’ have the temerity to call ‘‘progressive revelation’’! What is ‘‘progressive’’ about being damned and cut off, I ask?

·10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
