Misapplication of the warning of John at the end of Revelation: "19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Revelation 22:19 This book refers to the Book of Revelation of John the Apostle, only, saith the Lord. The Bible was canonized by the Mother of Harlots in 373 AD, 180 years after "this book" was written by John. John wrote the Book of John after Revelation, thus breaking his own seal and warning. As a matter of fact the "great and abominable church" actually removed many plain and precious things. All of Christianity stumbles on this scriptural wresting, most lately Mr. Camping who is prophesying the end of the world on May 21st based on the typical scripture wresting of apostate Christianity: 26 And after they go forth by the hand of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, from the Jews unto the Gentiles, thou seest the formation of that great and abominable church, which is most abominable above all other churches; for behold, they have taken away from the gospel of the Lamb many parts which are plain and most precious; and also many covenants of the Lord have they taken away.
27 And all this have they done that they might pervert the right ways of the Lord, that they might blind the eyes and harden the hearts of the children of men.
28 Wherefore, thou seest that after the book hath gone forth through the hands of the great and abominable church, that there are many plain and precious things taken away from the book, which is the book of the Lamb of God.
