A Stork's Tale

Listening to "A Storks Tale" by Art Bulla on #BlogTalkRadio  http://t.co/c4ismb6  (there were audio cut-offs which may make the program too difficult to listen to, it is up to you.)

Besides evolution being the "fairy-tale for grownups", concerning Adam being formed from the dust of the earth "like an adobe (brick)", Brigham Young decribed it as an "idle tale":

"Here let me state to all philosophers of every class upon the earth, when you tell me that Father Adam was made as we make adobes from the earth, you tell me what I deem as an idle tale. When you tell me that the beasts of the field were produced in that manner, you are speaking idle words devoid of meaning. There is no such thing in all the eternities where the Gods dwell. Mankind are here because they are the offspring of parents . . ." (Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, 7: 285-286)

Van Hale and the like want to point to Genesis to discredit the Bible as a historical record in general. It takes revelation from God to know what is the truth regarding these things.  The Science of Theologypossessed by the sons of God are the only means to unravel these wonderful mysteries.  They are mysterious to those who do not get or seek revelation from legal channels.  They betray their ignorance and folly when they get up an altercation against this legitimate source (Priesthood of Melchizedek).  Adam came from another world and made this, brought Eve one of his wives with him.  He is our Father and our God and the only God with whom we have to do.

When a man goes about prophesying, and commands men to obey his teachings, he must either be a true or false prophet.

·         10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (New Testament | Galatians 1:10 - 12)
