Sword of Laban not to be sheathed until "the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of our God and his Christ". Sword sat upon a "large table" unsheathed. This has to do with the political Kingdom of God which shall smash in pieces the image with feet of iron and clay mixed seen by Nebuchadnezzar and explained in Daniel. The political Kingdom of God must rule in the earth for the prayer prayed by Jesus to be fulfilled: "Father thy will be done and thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven..." The earthly pattern must conform authoritatively by revelation through the Lord's anointed and by commandment from him in the name of Israel's God. This must be the man (there is never but one on the earth at a time) receiving revelation from Israel's God which are written, and contain "thus saith the Lord", not manifestos which are lies. President of the Church is not the Lord's anointed, saith the Lord. The people choose their president, but God chooses his prophet, and they are not the same, as in the case of Samuel and Eli, and Saul, showing anointed (Samuel) controlled kingship and was the oracle of God to the High Priest (President). Further offices explained. Book of Mormon shows this order:

1 AND now it came to pass that the persecutions which were inflicted on the church by the unbelievers became so great that the church began to murmur, and complain to their leaders concerning the matter; and they did complain to Alma (their President). And Alma laid the case before their king, Mosiah (anointed). And Mosiah consulted with his priests (Council of 50--political Kingdom of God, which is independent of the Church--"further offices" spoken of by Brigham Young.
(Mosiah 27:1)
