That Man of Sin that Sitteth in the Temple of God Revealed

That Man of Sin that Sitteth in the Temple of God Revealed

(This depicts a Pope in the middle ages, but Catholics never have built Temples,

therefore, saith the Lord, that man of sin is a certain  President of the Church of the Latter-Day-Saints.
The image, however is correct in depicting the slavering boot-licking devotion of those who are deceived to this particular “scornful man”.)

1. There will be a falling away of unrighteous Saints who will be deceived, before the coming of Christ. Other passages make reference to such an apostasy in the period Of the new Jerusalem. Third Nephi 21:20 describes a group of unrepentant individuals will be cut off from among the Lord's people as the gathering of the new Jerusalem is taking place. Nephi also tells of the group who will be "cut off" because they won't heed to the words of Christ, while the righteous "shall not be confounded." This is to happen in the days of the new Jerusalem, for the passage speaks of those who will "fight against Zion" during this time. D&C 64:35 tells how "the rebellious shall be cut off out of the land of Zion, while D&C 85:11 proclaims that those who "have apostatized" or have been "cut off from the church" will be excluded from the New Jerusalem. D&C 45:57 also alludes to those who've been "deceived" among the church in the last days.  Duane Crowther

 3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first (apostasy of the Mormons, saith the Lord), and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (a president of the church, saith the Lord);

 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God (a solemn assembly called), shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thes  2:3-4)

"Latter-Day-Saints understanding has been that only members of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints can have sufficient preparation that it becomes possible that they can become sons of perdition if they fall and yield to Satan's wiles." Duane Crowther

·         10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (New Testament | Galatians 1:10 - 12)
