Sir Isaac Newton and Which Church is Right?
Numerology of Newton, successfully predicted the date of the return of the Jews to Palestine, aided by Kings of Europe. "The Chronology of Ancient Kingdoms Amended and Observations upon the Prophecies of Daniel and the Apocalyse of St. John" is in agreement with The Revelations of Jesus Christ, received by Art Bulla. As Newton wrote: And in that day there shall be a root of Jess{e} wch shall stand for an ensign of the people, to it shall ye Gentiles seek5(Rom 15. 12)4& his rest shall be glorious. And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people wch shall be left, from Assyria & from Egypt.62 As Newton himself indicates, these words, including those he underlined, are from Isaiah 11:10^11. Thus, with the imprimatur of this pivotal locus biblicus, he refers elsewhere to the ``double return'' of Israel to their land.63 Signi¢cantly, this paraphrase from Isaiah 11:11 even made it into his published Observa- tions.64 With the foundation principles and implications of the Abrahamic Covenant and the double return laid down, Newton could then go on to build an elaborate prophetic edi¢ce detailing the causes, conditions and ful¢lment of the Jewish captivity and Restoration. ``The Mystery of this Restitution of All Things'' 101A (S.
